The Field Preventive Medicine Division (FPMD) provides deploying field preventive medicine units with training, evaluations, consultations, and technical expertise in support of the Global War on Terror.  FPMD proactively supports deployable preventive medicine assets in order to prepare and increase their operational effectiveness in mitigating environmental and occupational health threats during military contingencies.
