December 3, 2007: The Explosives Detection Subgroup awarded a $550,000 contract to Material Intelligence, LLC for development of a suicide bomber detection system in response to BAA 06-Q-5570.

December 27, 2007 – Applied Research Associates, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop a miniaturized camera boom for MTRS robotic platforms. Award value is $764,705.00 for the 24-month effort.

November 8, 2007 – Armorworks, Inc. was awarded a contract to design an enhanced personal armor system in response to BAA 06-Q-5570. Award value is $134,614 for the 11-month effort.

November 5, 2007 – 3rd Ring was awarded a contract to develop and demonstrate a portable data extraction software tool in response to BAA 07-T-0043. Award value is $377,526 for the 9-month effort.

November 2, 2007 – Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc. was awarded a contract to investigate and analyze the impact of CT X-Ray explosives detection systems image quality on false alarm rates in response to BAA 07-T-0043. Award value is $2,575,524 for the 12-month effort.

September 27, 2007 – Northrup Grumman Corporation was awarded a contract to develop a laser photothermal interferometry technique for explosives detection. Award value is $211,529 for the 8-month effort.

September 24, 2007 – University of Florida was awarded a contract to design, develop, demonstrate, and evaluate a model for an immersive cultural learning environment in response to BAA 07-T-0043. Award value is $664,449.00 for the 19-month effort.

September 20, 2007 – Wilcox Industries Corporation was awarded a contract to develop a self-contained tactical cutting torch that can be hand carried by tactical operators. Award value is $21,897 for the 9-month effort.

September 18, 2007 – BBN Technologies was awarded a contract to develop tools to assist in foreign language and cultural knowledge awareness in response to BAA 07-T-0043. Award value is $1,106,650 for the 32-month effort.

September 18, 2007 – Corporation for National Research Initiatives was awarded a contract to develop a technology-assisted language learning concept in response to BAA 07-T-0043. Award value is $499,734 for the 12-month effort.

September 10, 2007 – Tactical Support Equipment, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop and demonstrate a compact amplifier and antenna in response to BAA 06-Q-5570. Award value is $230,491 for the 11-month effort.

August 1, 2007 – Zephyr Technology Limited was awarded a contract for development of a combat patient monitoring system in response to BAA 06-Q-5570. Award value is $730,801 for the 4-month effort.

July 31, 2007 – Spectrum San Diego, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop a low dose, high-throughput vehicle X-ray inspection system in response to BAA 06-Q-5570. Award value is $1,613,121 for the 22-month effort.

July 2, 2007 – Coda Octopus Group, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop, test, and deploy a real-time, three-dimensional echoscope sonar system to detect port and hull security threats in response to BAA 07-Q-4057. Award value is $8,184,257 for the 19-month effort.

May 21, 2007 – Raytheon Company was awarded a contract to develop a system that will alert operators to the existence, nature, and extent of cyber attacks in response to BAA 06-T-0032. Award value is $660,943 for the 12-month effort.

May 4, 2007 – Physical Optics Corporation was awarded a contract to develop night vision goggle enhancements in response to BAA 06-Q-5570. Award value is $2,183,592 for the 9-month effort.

April 26, 2007 – Specialty Products, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop simplified uses for spray-on polymers in response to BAA 07-Q-4057. Award value is $631,619 for the 12-month effort.

March 28, 2007 – University of California at San Diego was awarded a contract to perform blast simulator testing in response to BAA 05-Q-4782. Award value is $1,794,000 for the 18-month effort.

March 12, 2007 – OI Analytical was awarded a contract to develop a system that will detect the contamination of field or domestic water supply systems with organic substances in response to BAA 06-T-0032. Award value is $709,883 for the 18-month effort.

March 8, 2007 – Battelle Memorial Institute was awarded a contract to provide operational guidelines for using a drive-by backscatter van to detect explosives and other potential threats concealed in vehicles, packages, and on individuals. Award value is $341,753 for the 12-month effort.

March 1, 2007 – Vohne Liche Kennels Canine Security, LLC was awarded a contract to provide Canine Master Trainers to be stationed at various bases in the U.S. Award value is $1,244,814 for the 12-month effort.

February 26, 2007 – Air Force Research Laboratory was awarded a contract to evaluate explosives detection equipment for threat quantities of homemade explosives. Award value is $1,950,000 for the effort.

February 8, 2007 – Battelle Memorial Institute was awarded a contract to conduct a market study of state-of-the-art commercially available and evolving vehicle and body armor technologies from U.S. and non-U.S. suppliers. Award value is $266,361 for the 13-month effort.

February 1, 2007 – Raytheon Technical Services Company was awarded a contract to design and develop a retrofit kit for use in transit and school bus configurations in response to BAA 06-T-0032. Award value is $866,658 for the 24-month effort.
