MISSION
Provide acquisition oversight, program management, advocacy, and support for the satellite communications (SATCOM), Teleport, and Services portfolios. Deliver best value and operationally relevant capabilities and services to the Commander-in-Chief and the warfighter.
FUNCTIONS
- Manage the resources to ensure the upgrade and integration of communications assets supporting the Commander-in-Chief and establishment of the agency as provider of choice for SATCOM and service acquisition support for the department.
- Ensure effective and efficient application, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of portfolio resources in support of DISA's mission in concert with department goals and objectives.
- Engage with the department's senior leaders to facilitate the strategic application of those assets and services within the portfolio in support of the warfighter.
- Ensure consistent and cost-effective program/project/services planning and execution within the portfolio.
