Star Spangled Banner - 2011

1812 Commemoration Launch Event



Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and chairman of Operation Sail, Inc., Jose Fuentes announced a partnership for the bicentennial commemoration of the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner. They made the announcement in a ceremony at the Smithsonian's Museum of American History.
