Deactivating Redundant AKO Email Accounts for DoD EE Users
We are closing 430K redundant AKO email accounts for existing DoD Enterprise Email (EE) users. These users are a subset of the total DoD EE users who have AKO accounts; the accounts to be closed do not include communities like deployed Soldiers, families, NG, and USAR. AKO email addresses are still valid, and email addressed to AKO accounts will continue to be automatically forwarded to DoD EE accounts.
