To provide a single, synchronized strategy for the evolution of Army Intelligence, at all echelons, to successfully support Army Transformation to the Objective Force

Created in 1986 by the Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Intel (ACSI) as a A single, coherent strategy for the planned evolution of Army Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Target Acquisition systems and organizations at all echelons to a clearly defined future objective.

The AAT is a look at MI programs from “soup to nuts”, the current year through the POM years. The objective is to be able to look at what the force looks like tomorrow in order to answer questions and make decisions regarding manpower, force structure and programmatics. It facilitates MI speaking as many voices, with one vision and one vector, to extract from select corporate databases to construct a foundation for a coherent picture of MI so DCS, G-2, DAPR-FDIS, INSCOM, and USAIC is on the proverbial “same sheet of music”
