Welcome to “International Acquisition Management”
The International Department is responsible for training the growing number of Defense Acquisition Workforce members involved in International programs on how their jobs differ and become more complex when done with international partners and/or customers. The courses detail differences from managing U.S. acquisition programs by examining the acquisition framework, statutes, policy, and processes.
This learning architecture is evolving in response to implementing the AT&L directed International Acquisition Career Path (IACP) and will offer exciting new training opportunities over the next several years.
We are also the gateway for International students, Distinguished Visitor Delegations (from foreign governments), and acquisition outreach efforts for U.S. foreign friends and allies seeking collaborative relationships with DAU.
It’s challenging, fun, and an important tool helping attain National Security Objectives and creating better U.S. acquisition outcomes in a global environment.
