GRANTS
Below is a description of the mitigation grant programs that are offered by FEMA through the state. As of June 2012, the only funded grant program available is the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
Post-Disaster Grant Program:
Due to the nature of funding, please contact the State Hazard Mitigation Officer to determine if funds are available under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). Also HMGP applications are NOT part of EGrants. In order to apply for planning or project grant funding, please submit a notice of intent.

Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) NOTE: This program is not available in New Mexico, due to no severe repetitive loss structures in the state.
Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Grant Programs:
As of June 2012, there is no funding identified for the federal Fiscal year 2013 for the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant Program.
