Congressman Steve Austria (R-Beavercreek) just released the following statement regarding the Super Committee:

"I am deeply concerned that the Super Committee was not able to reach an agreement. Sequestration will have significant impacts on our national defense and in particular Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, thus making the decisions that we make in the Appropriations Committee even more critical to our men and women in uniform.

"Working with my colleagues in the House, I will continue to fight to make sure we have a robust national defense and do what is necessary to prevent the catastrophic effects of sequestration on those who have dedicated their lives to serving our nation."
