Welcome! The Kauffman School is a tuition-free charter public school open to students living inside the boundaries of the Kansas City, Missouri School District. The Kauffman School is scheduled to open in August, 2011 and will enroll one hundred fifth graders in the first year. A new fifth grade class will be added each year until the school is complete from grades five through twelve.

The mission of the Kauffman School is to prepare students to excel academically, graduate from college, and apply their unique talents in the world to create economically independent and personally fulfilling lives.

This website is intended to provide basic information regarding the Kauffman School during its initial development phase. Over the coming months, the site will be updated with new facts and opportunities for engagement.
