With Cold Weather Approaching, DPH Warns Residents of Carbon Monoxide Danger
  With cold weather approaching, the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) reminds residents of the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) and encourages residents to have their heating systems serviced and carbon monoxide detectors installed in their homes. DPH also warns against the improper use of portable generators during power outages.

All Connecticut patients who may have received recalled medication associated with meningitis outbreak contacted
  The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) today announced that all 39 of the Connecticut patients who may have received injections with the recalled medication linked to a multi-state outbreak of fungal meningitis have been contacted. No cases of fungal meningitis related to this outbreak have been identified in Connecticut at this time.

DPH: Update on Investigation into Recalled Medication Linked to Nationwide Meningitis Outbreak
  The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) today announced that 37 of the 39 Connecticut patients who may have received injections with the recalled medication linked to a multi-state outbreak of fungal meningitis have been contacted.
