Welcome to the Wyoming Miners' Hospital Board's Homepage. The Board was created by the Legislature and the Governor on March, 2001 (§ 30-6-1010) to use funds set aside by the state to provide health and wellness programs for active, retired or contractor miners. These programs deal with miners seeking medical care for illnesses from cardiac, respiratory, hearing and musculoskeletal conditions. The funding for these programs comes from the miners hospital account from the permanent land fund and the miners hospital account from the permanent income fund.

The Board is dedicated to providing healthcare programs that will contribute to the improved health of miners. These programs will help in the early detection of illnesses in the four areas mentioned above or aid in making access to health care easier.
