USC one of nation's top universities for Fulbrights
Michael Shashoua '12 is heading to Spain on a Fulbright Fellowship, and he's far from alone. The Fulbright Program recently recognized USC as one of the top 40 universities for advancing Fulbright recipients. For 2012-13, nearly a dozen USC students and graduates earned Fulbright Student Grants to study overseas.
$18 million grant will bring dental care to tens of thousands of L.A. kids
The Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC will use a nearly $18.4 million grant to provide much-needed dental care to 46,000 children age 5 and younger. The aim: to educate and channel children early to affordable clinics, setting them on a lifetime path to good dental health.
