The Florida Women's Business Center (FWBC) is an entrepreneur resource center dedicated to assisting women in achieving their dreams by helping them start, grow and run successful businesses. The FWBC's primary focus is to provide training, counseling, mentoring, resources, referrals, and support to women entrepreneurs. The FWBC is a collaborative partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration and is one of its 100 national Women's Business Centers. 
Training is provided on a variety of business topics to help women become successful business owners. The training program includes workshops and seminars that present new ideas, practical business skills, fresh perspectives and valuable information.
Our top five popular trainings are: 1-2-3's of Starting A Business; SBA & Bank Financing; Business Plan Wriiting Series; Skills To Operate A Profitable Business; and Social Media & Internet Marketing.

The Business Women ROCK series was created for women entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals to help and support each other. The Business Women ROCK luncheon is held monthly from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Boca Raton. Each month women come together to discuss various topics in a collaborative environment. Our professional facilitator runs each meeting, but the focus is on you! We are pleased to announce that a FWBC office is back in Broward County. Thanks to the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s generous support we are now located in their office. This new partnership between the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Women’s Business Center will bring training and resources to local Broward County business owners trying to stay afloat in the current economic climate or initiate entrepreneurial ventures. The FWBC’s primary objectives are to provide: training, counseling, mentoring, resources and support to women entrepreneurs. Businesswomen in Southwest Florida have a powerful ally now with the recent establishment of a local branch of the Florida Women's Business Center in Fort Myers. It is located in the Southwest Florida Enterprise Center (SWFEC), which is located close to downtown Fort Myers and Interstate 75. The SWFEC recognized that the FWBC services aligned well with its own and generously donated office space. A local businesswomen was hired a Business Development Manager for the Ft. Myers branch. Her role is to provide a combination of small business training, one-on-one counseling and outreach/marketing of the program.
The Florida Women's Business Center was spotlighted on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. CBS took great strides in getting to know us by coming out to our center and filming our beautiful facility, interviewing our Director Jennifer Brin Kovach and two of our clients Adrianna Martin and Yolanda Goldwire. This was an extraordinary opportunity for us to share with the nation the needs of the small business owner, how the state of economy directly impacts them and the resources our center has available to help them.
