WASHINGTON – Rep. Leonard Lance (NJ-07) will hold a service academy information fair for Seventh Congressional District High School Students on May 2nd. The Seventh District includes towns in Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex and Union Counties.

Lance’s Academy Information Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sat., May 2, 2009 at the Raritan Valley Community College (Conference Center) located on Route 28 and Lamington Road in North Branch.

Lance has invited representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy and the Coast Guard. Additionally, representatives from Lance’s congressional staff will be available to answer questions from students about the nominating process.

Lance’s academy fair is free and open to Seventh District high school students. Students with questions should call Brad Myhre in Congressman Lance’s office at (908) 788-6900 for more information.
