“Today marks the 68th anniversary of D-Day.  D-Day is an unforgettable event in American history when 160,000 brave young men arrived on the shores of Normandy to liberate Europe. 

“Please join me in honoring the bravery of Allied troops, remembering their sacrifices and celebrating their success.  The heroes of World War II truly represent the greatest generation.”
