WASHINGTON – Rep. Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today issued the following statement regarding the passing of Assemblyman Eric Munoz of Summit.

“I had the privilege of working with Assemblyman Munoz in the New Jersey State Legislature for almost a decade and admired his dedicated commitment to public service and his important contributions to the medical community as a surgeon and medical professor. It is with great sadness that Heidi and I express our deepest condolences to Eric’s wife, Nancy, and to their five children. While Eric will be deeply missed, he made a profound and extremely positive difference in the lives of the people of New Jersey. We will keep the entire Munoz family in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.”
