LANCE PRESENTS PETER MINA OF FLEMINGTON WORLD WAR II SERVICE MEDALS

FLEMINGTON, NJ – On Friday, August 13, 2010, Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) held a special ceremony at the home of Flemington resident Peter Mina for his service during World War II.   Mina served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946.  

During the event, Lance presented Mina with the Philippine Liberation Medal and Unit Citation medals.  The Philippine Liberation Medal was awarded by the Philippine government to U.S. service members for their participation in World War II.
