Seventh District Lawmaker to Participate in Memorial Day Events in Iselin, Hillsborough and Lebanon

WASHINGTON – Over theweekend Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) will participate in several Memorial Day events throughout the Seventh District.  Specifically, Lance will participate in events in Iselin, Hillsborough and LebanonTownship.

In advance of the Nation’s annual holiday, Lance issued the following statement:

"On Memorial Day we honor the brave men and women throughout our Nation’s history who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our freedoms. I am honored to join citizens across New Jersey in paying our deep respect and gratitude to these fallen heroes and their families. While we cannot repay their sacrifice, we can honor and remember them and ensure that future generations of Americans will do the same.”

Over the next few days, Lance will participate in the following Memorial Day events:

Lebanon Township at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27 at Voorhees High School

Hillsborough Township- 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 at the municipal building

Iselin- 11 a.m. on Monday, May 30 at the Post Monument
