Nonemployer Enterprise Classification System (ECS) Categories and Corresponding Establishment NAICS Industries

This page shows the equivalent 2007 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) industries for the 2007 Enterprise Classification System (ECS) sectors and categories shown in the prototype 2007 Enterprise Statistics tables. For the sectors, unless otherwise noted, the ECS sector code is the equivalent NAICS code. The abbreviation "n.e.c." indicates "not elsewhere classified."

A classification system for employer firms is also available.
