 U.S. Census Bureau Staff Update - Ms. Wendy D. Peebles

Ms. Wendy D. Peebles, the long time Chief of the Automated Export
System Branch, will be taking her skills and assets to another area in
the U.S. Census Bureau's Foreign Trade Division effective
September 26, 2010.  Her new position will be as Chief of the Data
Collection and Coordination Branch.  Many of you in the trade community
may remember Ms. Peebles at various meetings, seminars and conferences
passionately promoting the Automated Export System.

Ms. Peebles wishes to thank the industry for all your hard work,
commitment and support while participating in the AES.  Everyone's
willingness to transition to a new technology and higher levels of
compliance has made the system a success.  She leaves behind a
hard-working and dedicated staff that will continue to provide the
same excellent support that has been delivered for years.

Ms. Dale Kelly, Foreign Trade Division, Assistant Division Chief of
Data Collection will serve as Acting Chief of the Automated Export
System Branch until a replacement has been named.  The day to day
operations of the branch will be lead by:

    Paul Newman, September 27 - October 29
    Theresa Gordon, November 1 - December 3
    Christina Farr, December 6 - December 31

2009 Constant Dollar Data
- The Census Bureau identified a processing error that caused incorrect deflators to be applied to the revised data for 2009. The data have been corrected.
