ACS Flag Codes
Reconciliation Issue Codes
The 4 character alpha is the code used for blanket flag. (Input by Customs in ACS if there is a blanket flag.)

The 2 character alpha is the code used on the type 09 header to indicate the issue(s) being reconciled. (Will show up on the 09 Recon entry, transmitted by filer).

A Reconciliation must have the issue code that corresponds to the issue(s) flagged on each entry summary covered by it. That is, if a group of entry summaries were flagged for two different sets of issues, they cannot be covered by the same Reconciliation.

If the issue on the entry has already been covered by a Reconciliation, the flag code in Customs system will have a '2' in the second position. (e.g. an entry flagged for '001' Value will show up as '021' after the Recon has been filed.

NAFTA is flagged under a separate Yes/No indicator
