The following three software products have been developed by the international programs staff of the U.S. Census Bureau. These programs are used by researchers in statistical offices, universities, and private organizations around the world for data collection, data processing, and population analysis work. The programs are available free of charge.
CSPro is a software package for entering, editing, tabulating, and mapping census and survey data.
PAS consists of 45 spreadsheets with tools for analyzing age structure, mortality, fertility, migration, distribution of the population, and urbanization, which allow users to generate population projections.
Rural and Urban Projection (RUP) is a computer program for projecting age and sex cohorts over time.
