With the deployment of new capabilities fast approaching, the CBP Account Services Desk staff is preparing to help both new account holders and existing ACE users with expanded account management capabilities.
- Survey Reveals Overall Low CBP Officer Satisfaction with ACE Truck Manifest Capabilities

Results from a recent survey of CBP officers using ACE reveal low satisfaction with ACE truck processing capabilities due to problems with system reliability, data errors, and insufficient real-time help. "We initiated this user survey as part of continuous improvement efforts. Clearly, the results show we have more work to do to ensure that ACE truck capabilities are meeting the needs of front line officers," said Louis Samenfink, executive director for the CBP Cargo Systems Program Office.
- Electronic Manifest Filing Now Mandatory in Idaho and Montana

Effective August 6, 2007, truck carriers must submit electronic manifests before arriving at Idaho and Montana land border ports. Following a period of enforcement discretion, full enforcement of the e-Manifest filing requirement in Idaho and Montana will begin on October 5, 2007.
