Outreach

The Bank engages in a variety of outreach activities that bring value to our community and promote our reputation as an attractive employer. Such activities also help support our diversity vision by providing opportunities for diverse individuals in our local community to acquire and strengthen basic business skills required by our organization, thus increasing the diversity of the labor pools from which we draw our applicants.

The Bank's FIRST SERVE program offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to staff members in the First Federal Reserve District. Bank staff volunteer in a number of activities including financial literacy programs, math and reading tutoring programs, the Boston Debate League, community service programs, and the City of Boston tax preparation assistance program.
