Gain a better understanding of economic concepts including Federal Reserve goals and functions, unemployment, and inflation. Part of the workshop will include a special presentation by Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Dennis Lockhart. The session will also take advantage of the Atlanta Fed's online Classroom Economist series. Interactive lessons will be demonstrated and various resource ideas shared. This session will help teachers bring economic topics to life in the classroom.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Probasco Chair of Free Enterprise, Center for Economic Education.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
