Regional Economic Information Network (REIN)

Established in 2008, REIN deepens the Atlanta Fed's knowledge of the regional economy through formal contacts with university researchers throughout the Southeast. That arrangement, the Local Economic Analysis and Research Network (LEARN), is one component of REIN. The other is an online repository of data and analysis on the region's economy, including reports on major sectors such as construction and real estate and labor markets. In addition, each issue of the Atlanta Fed's quarterly EconSouth magazine highlights REIN's most recent findings.
