A Conversation with the Chairman: Denver

As you prepare for the next school year, take some time to have a "Conversation with the Chairman."

The Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will address educators nationwide via video conference from Noon - 2:30 p.m. MDT on Aug. 7, 2012. His live message will focus on the critical need for personal finance education in the wake of the recent financial crisis. After his remarks, Bernanke will take questions from educators gathered at sites from across the country.

K-12 educators are invited to the Kansas City Fed’s Denver Branch to participate in this special conversation. This video conference is part of the Federal Reserve’s professional development program. The event includes lunch, Q&A with an economist and free educational resources. An optional tour of the Denver Branch is available at 10:30 a.m.
