Joe Kim King of Brady joined the Dallas Fed board in 2008.
King is president and chairman of Texas Country Bancshares Inc., a $250 million organization with three bank charters and four locations headquartered in Brady. He serves as CEO of Brady National Bank, chairman of the First National Bank of Ballinger, Bank of San Angelo and Uvalde National Bank, and vice chairman of Citizens Bank in Abilene.
Previously, he served as president and CEO of the First National Bank of Plainview.
King is chairman of the Independent Bankers Bank board. He serves on the Brady city planning and zoning board and is president of the McCulloch County Conservation Association.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a master's degree from Texas A&M University. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
