Dental Costs
TRICARE offers three dental plans for beneficiaries:
- TRICARE Dental Program
- TRICARE Retiree Dental Program
- TRICARE Active Duty Dental Program
The TRICARE Dental Program and TRICARE Retiree Dental Program are voluntary and require you to enroll for coverage. If you enroll in either of these dental plans, you will pay monthly premiums and cost shares for covered dental services.
The TRICARE Active Duty Dental Program augments services provided at military dental treatment facilities for active duty service members. There are typically no out-of-pocket costs for covered dental services.
