Hiring Reform at DLA |
On May 11, 2010 the President signed an Executive Memorandum that summoned executive departments and agencies to overhaul the way they recruit and hire the civilian workforce.
This memorandum sets the requirement to enable Americans to be able to apply for Federal jobs through a commonsense hiring process. It also requires agency managers and supervisors to be held accountable and assume a leadership role in recruiting and selecting high-quality candidates quickly and efficiently; and tasks human resource offices to provide critical support for these efforts. |
