TRICARE Acquisition Practices

The TRICARE Acquisition Practices (TAPs) are existing procedural documents and serve as the "how to" portion of the TMA acquisition policy structure. The TAPs formalize/standardize TMA acquisition work processes. Each TAP is identified by a specific number, title, and date implemented. The TAPs are in the process of being replaced by TRICARE Acquisition Directives (TADs) and/or the TMA Procedure, Guidance, and Information (PGI). They will prevail as active procedural guidance until replaced.
