Honoring Dr. King
On this day that we commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., take a moment to read this inspiring post on the recently dedicated memorial in his honor, and this post on a special naturalization ceremony hosted by the King Center in Atlanta.

My mother marched with Dr. King in Washington DC and heard his famous "I have a dream" speech live and in-person. It literally changed her life, and I am proud to see his legacy being honored still today.
Neither me, nor my relatives saw Dr. King live, but I owe the friendship of my life to this man. My roots go back to Ireland and I'm sure I would have never met my best friend Omar and also my girlfriend if it were not for Dr. Martin Luther King and all he has done for the nation. I owe him the best I have in my life.
El legado del doctor Martin Luther King es muy grande y nosotros como seres humanos debemos continuar con este legado , en pos de obtener una mejor sociedad, Es tan grande su MENSAJE, que aun muchos no logran comprender la verdadera MAGNIGTUD DE SU LUCHA por la HUMANIDAD.
The greatest words of a great man: "All men are created equal". When one really thinks about, and without offending religious sensibilities, it may be safe to say that the great Dr. King was as important as Jesus, himself, to our human capacity - no, imperative - for friendship and respect across the racial divide.
Dr. Martin Luther King is one of my heroes. I think easily the most important public figure of the last 100 years. thank you for sharing this great post - I will do the same.
