2012 AF Golf Championship

The 2012 Armed Forces Championship was held 4-10 October with teams from across the Services. The Air Force Men dominated the tournament with 9-under par and Navy Women take the stand.

Army women win 2012 Armed Forces Softball Championship

FORT SILL, Okla. (Army News Service, Sept. 27, 2012) -- Terri "Mama T" Andreoni, a 40-year-old, hard-hitting pitcher, led the All-Army women to a 5-4 victory over defending champion All-Air Force in the gold-medal game of the 2012 Armed Forces Softball Championships, Sept. 20, at the Cannoneer Complex.

Lausanne, Switzerland – U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Jolene Wilkinson captures gold in the Women’s Veterans Division with a time of 2 hours, 14 minutes, and 20.7 seconds.

Marines Take Gold at First Armed Forces Rugby 7s, End USAF 8 Year Run

GLENDALE, CO – The last time the Marines and USAF faced each other in the championship match was in 2006. As the Armed Forces Championship format moved to 7s, the Devil Dogs would emerge as champions over the Air Force (33-31) at the inaugural 2012 Armed Forces Rugby 7s Championship.

U.S. Military Athletes Compete in 2012 London Olympic Games

LONDON – U.S. service members were among more than 10,000 Olympians from across the world who marched into Olympic Stadium during the Opening Ceremony in London. 17 U.S. military athletes and four coaches are representing the United States in six different sporting venues: shooting, fencing, boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling, track and field and the modern pentathlon.
