One of the greatest rights we all possess is the right to vote. It is a right that every Airman and Soldier fights to defend. Sometimes, however, servicemembers are unable to take advantage of this privilege because they do not know or understand the necessary requirements. The purpose of the Installation Voting Assistance Office is to provide service members, their families and retirees with all possible help in registering to vote and answering other voting-related questions.
The new Installation Voting Assistance Office is located in the Bateman Library at Langley Air Force Base. Services are provided by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, email vote@langley.af.mil with your request and a tentative time/date, and a Voting Assistance Officer will be sure to contact you promptly. Do not contact the library directly to inquire about the voting office or to set up an appointment.
NOTE: Unit voting representatives should be the primary point of contact for voting-related questions. Contact your unit first sergeant for this information.
