Error could force civilian employees in Europe to repay housing allowances

An estimated 2,000 Defense Department civilian employees working in Europe might be receiving housing allowances in error and could be obligated to repay years’ worth of the benefits to the government, according to a U.S. European Command memo obtained by Stars and Stripes.
