Advisory Committees
BLM Wyoming has two Federal Advisory Committe Act (FACA) chartered advisory committees: the Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) and the BLM Wyoming Resource Advisory Council (RAC).Pinedale Anticline Working Group
The PAWG develops recommendations and provides advice to BLM on matters pertaining to oil and gas development in the Pinedale Anticline Project Area, as described in the Pinedale Anticline Environmental Impact Statement Record of Decision.
Resource Advisory Council
The BLM Wyoming RAC is a 10-member statewide advisory committee which provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for approximately 17 million acres of federal surface and 38 million acres of subsurface mineral estate in Wyoming.
