MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 6, 2012) Chief Navy Diver Eric Eberle, left, and Navy Diver 2nd Class Jason Geissler, both assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, Company 4, operate a suction dredge system during an underwater recovery operation in search of an missing service member. The divers are working with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) who conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify missing Americans from past conflicts. MDSU 2-4 and JPAC are embarked onboard the USNS Grapple (T-ARS-53). The U.S. Navy is reliable, flexible, and ready to respond worldwide on, above, and below the sea.
