Be A Junior Ranger
Young visitors to Jefferson National Expansion Memorial can earn a Junior Ranger badge at either the Old Courthouse or the Museum of Westward Expansion beneath the Gateway Arch. Click the following links for the Old Courthouse Junior Ranger book or the Museum of Westward Expansion book. By completing the activities in either Junior Ranger booklet, children ages 5-17 years-old learn about the people, places and events related to St. Louis history and America's westward expansion during the 1800s. Junior Ranger booklets are available at the information desk at either the Gateway Arch or the Historic Old Courthouse. After completing the activities in the booklet, children will receive a Junior Ranger badge and Certificate of Achievement. Special Junior Ranger patches can be purchased at the gift shop at either site.
