  • Resurfacing Roadways and Parking Lot

    Due to the resurfacing of our roads and parking lots during the week of September 24th, all visitors and staff must park in the gravel lot. One of the two park entrances may close. Also, there is no vehicle access to the backstage area during this week.

Junior Ranger Program
A Junior Park Ranger booklet is available at the visitor center so young people between the ages of 6 and 11 can learn more about the Memorial during their visit. Participants must correctly complete sections of this booklet to earn a free Junior Ranger badge.

Little Ranger Coloring Book
A coloring book is available at the Visitor Center information desk for our park visitors younger than 6-years old.

Wilderness Explorer Junior Ranger Book
Children 8-years old up to adults can become Wilderness Explorers with this nation-wide junior ranger program. To participate and earn a wilderness badge, ask a ranger at the visitor center and complete sections of the book.

Green Junior Ranger Program
