Tonight's "Pershing's Own" Chamber Music Series continues with works from the focal point of western Classical music: Vienna, Austria. Tune in to the live audio broadcast at usarmyband.com or better yet, come in person to hear works by Mozart, Brahms, and Mahler for piano and strings. Tuesday, October 16 at 7:30pm, Brucker Hall, Ft. Myer, Virginia.- Don't miss tomorrow night, Saturday, October 13, at 7:00 pm at the Fort Myer Memorial Chapel: Songs of the Blue and the Gray: A Civil War Commemoration Concert featuring The U.S. Army Chorus, the Vienna Presbyterian Church Youth Choir, and the Bailey's Crossroads Baptist Church Choir, with historical commentary by Dr. Christian McWhirter, author of "Battle Hymns: The Power and Popularity of Music in the Civil War." The concert starts at 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public. No tickets required.
