Welcome to the Automated Commissary
Equipment Description (ACED) Program

ACED is designed to specify the critical characteristics of equipment used by the commissaries and distribution centers for the purpose of ordering equipment.

Equipment items not considered to be part of the Equipment Program:

  • CARTS Equipment: checkout counters, registers, scanners, etc.
  • Telephones and Communications Equipment
  • Computer Equipment: laptops, printers, monitors, scanners

Computer Devices listed in ACED for convenience, but not part of the Equipment Program:

  • ADP Depot List
  • ADP Hardware
  • ADP Software
  • ADP Supplies

When ordering equipment as either part of the push package, as an emergency, or an out- of- cycle request, fill-in and send-in a completed CED sheet for the item. Some CED sheets have blank lines for decisions you must make concerning specifications, such as dimensions, color, or electrical requirements. Without this information filled-in, the Center of Excellence (COE) cannot process an order to your exact needs.
