Teachers selected for the Teacher Ranger Teacher program spend the summer in national parks as uniformed park rangers. Then, during the school year, these Teacher Rangers bring the parks into the classroom through lessons that draw on their summer’s experience.

Did You Know?
Wupatki Pueblo was an important center for trade, judging from the exotic items found there. These include copper bells from Mexico, shell beads, and the remains of more than 40 macaws from Mesoamerica.
