Are you eligible to claim Sunday premium pay?

Were you a part-time DeCA employee between May 26, 2003 and May 26, 2009? Did your work schedule during that time require you to work on Sundays?

If you are a current or former part-time employee and answered yes to both of those questions, you may submit a claim for a lump sum payment of Sunday premium pay.

Claims must be made in writing using either the Current Employee Form Packet or the Former Employee Form Packet.

To support your claim, you must provide proof that establishes the dates you worked that included Sundays and that you worked part time during the claim period on a regularly scheduled tour of duty. If you or someone else is filing a claim on behalf of another person, a copy of a Power of Attorney also must be attached to the claim.

Examples of supporting documents include, but are not limited to, an SF 50, Notification of Personnel Action, indicating part-time status; biweekly work schedules; time and attendance records; or other documentation, such as a sworn affidavit stating you were scheduled and did actually work on Sundays during the period claimed.

Completed forms and documentation may be e-mailed to SundayPremium@deca.mil; faxed to (804) 734-8009, extension 72917; or sent by certified mail to:
