Land Use Plan Revision
BLM Uncompahgre Field Office is in the beginning stages of revising their Land Use Plan, also known as a Resource Management Plan. The public scoping/public comment process is anticipated to begin in July 2009.
The BLM will add additional information concerning the planning effort as it becomes available.
Preparation Plan
The Preparation Plan for the Uncompahgre Resource Management Plan provides a foundation for the land use planning process by describing the Uncompahgre Field Office environment and identifying anticipated issues and concerns, preliminary planning criteria and processes, and other needed information.

Community Assessment
The Uncompahgre Field Office completed a Community Assessment of the Uncompahgre Planning Area in February 2009, which involved small group discussions with leaders from counties and communities within the field office. Their input will provide valuable insight into local concerns, vision and values for managing public lands.
