Funding Opportunity Announcement
CDC has funded the Paul Coverdell National Acute Stroke Registry since 2001 to improve the quality of acute stroke care and health outcomes for acute stroke patients. CDC’s Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention announces the opportunity for State Health Departments including the District of Columbia to apply for funds to support and strengthen the capacity and leadership of heart disease and stroke prevention programs by improving acute stroke treatment and outcomes through the implementation of Paul Coverdell Acute Stroke Registries.
