Since 2001, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has showcased the nation's premier high school football talent. The level of play in these games has demanded the absolute highest levels of mental, emotional and physical strengths for those participating. The expansive and continually growing list of prominent alumni featured in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl's history stands as proof of this strength and the extraordinary level of competition. Some of the most notable All-American alumni include: Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, 2012 #1 NFL Draft Pick Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore and Robert Woods among many more.
As of the start of NFL training camps, there are more than 200 U.S. Army All-American Bowl alumni on NFL rosters. During the 2012 NFL Draft, 22 U.S. Army All-Americans were selected, including six first round selections. An incredible total of 51 U.S. Army All-Americans have been selected in the past two NFL Drafts. More and more U.S. Army All-Americans enter the NFL each season as the Army All-American Bowl continues to produce some of the game’s brightest stars on its biggest stage.

Byrnes High School | SC
- Lattimore had one of the most productive careers in high school football history, reaching the highest levels in team and individual success. He led Byrnes to state titles his sophomore and junior seasons and to a runner-up finish his senior year. On the ground, Lattimore’s career marks stand at 6,375 yards and 104 touchdowns. He was named All-State and elected Junior National Football Player of the Year in 2008. The next season, Lattimore earned the title of Mr. Football in South Carolina and was a repeat All-State selection.
College: University of South Carolina
- Lattimore continued to put up big numbers at the college level, culminating in him being named consensus SEC Freshman of the Year and National Freshman of the Year. He also earned All-SEC status after his 1,609 yards-from-scrimmage, 19-touchdown freshman season. Lattimore set the South Carolina single-season scoring record and his 1,197 rushing yards trail only Heisman winner George Rogers for the most in a single season in Gamecock history. He was an easy choice for the 2011 Preseason All-SEC team, and is on every watch list possible. Lattimore could even be considered a favorite for the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore.
