An environmental surveillance team traveled from Camp Zama, Japan to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to train deploying Soldiers of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. The Soldiers with of the 25th STB gathered for a battalion inactivation, reorganization and redesignation ceremony, officially becoming the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion.

Musicians from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the Hawaii Army National Guard performed a combined military band concert on Armed Forcesd Day, May 15, at the Hawaii Theatre, Honolulu.
