Weather, Satellites and Research Section The Weather, Satellites and Research Section provides legal advice on a wide range of issues to the National Weather Service (NWS), the National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NESDIS), and the Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR).
