The FBI's information technology (IT) professionals build, operate, and maintain the FBI's IT enterprise. This includes developing the FBI's IT strategic plan and operating budget; developing and maintaining the FBI's technology assets; and providing technical direction for the reengineering of FBI business processes. IT professionals also work in support of FBI investigations and provide state-of-the-art identification and information services to our local, state, federal, and international criminal justice partners.
The FBI's IT professionals work in the
Criminal Justice Information Services Division, the
Cyber Division,
the Office of the Chief Knowledge Officer,
the Information Technology Services Division,
the Information Technology Management Division,
and the
Information Technology Engineering Division,
and are also employed at every field office.
